Above left: A 1983 '57 vintage Stratocaster JV44161, and pictured above right: A 1983 '62 vintage Stratocaster JV57409, both owned by Milan Petrovic from Serbia.

Three pictures above: An ash body Squier brand '57 vintage Stratocaster, serial number; JV36773 owned by Tony Webb from Chippenham Wiltshire.

Above:  A beautiful unmarked example of an early '62 vintage Stratocaster, serial number; JV07674 owned by Stuart Bailey.

Above:  A lovely Butterscotch blonde JV Telecaster, JV94390, owned by Russell Timms.  (A special Thank you! to Russell for allowing me to spend a whole day playing and photographing it).

Above:  A great looking '62 vintage Stratocaster from 1982, JV19129.  It is owned by Tom Austin of Maine USA, who bought this guitar new in 1983 whilst stationed at RAF Mildenhall in the UK.

Above:  It is really good to see these early Fender logo guitars in such amazing condition, and here is another one.  This one has the serial number JV03332 and is owned by Davie Simpson.

Three pictures above:  This great looking '57 vintage Stratocaster JV97827 has been restored to it's former glory by it's owner Alex, from Mordovia, Russia.  It is now fitted with a set of Fender vintage noiseless pickups, in place of it's old humbucker pickups (Seen in the picture top left)

Alex (Aleksandr Kolesnikov), lead guitarist for the band 'ARGIRA' is the fourth owner of the guitar, with the first owner (and the culprit behind the fitting of humbucker pickups) being non other than Vladimir Kholstinin, lead guitarist with Russia's most popular rock band 'ARIA'.

This early 1983 '62 vintage Stratocaster JV29197 is owned (or should I say re-owned) by Lenny Eloranta from Thunder Bay, Canada.  He was in fact one of the first in Thunder Bay to own a new Squier JV instrument back in 83.  After refinishing the guitar in black (it was originally white) he later sold it on to someone who moved away from the area.  And just recently, the second owner moved back, and Lenny was able to buy his old, much missed guitar back from him, almost in the same condition that he sold it in!  He has now restored the guitar back to it's original colour (See Lenny's refinish work on the JV Strat Re-fin page; through the various stages of preparation, right up to the finished job!).  It's not every day that someone gets the chance to re-own their old guitar! (The bridge pickup is a stacked Seymour Duncan unit).

Above:  This '57 vintage Stratocaster JV51882, is owned by Mark Dumble of Co. Durham, England, who bought it new in 1983.   It is in excellent condition, with only the pickup covers showing their age.

The above pictures of this great looking early '57 vintage JV Precision Bass were sent in by it's owner, Wout Folmer, from Holland, who bought the guitar new back in September 1982, where he believes it was imported from the UK.  He tells me that this guitar is at least on par sound wise with his original '65 (maybe even better!).  You may have noticed the extra pickup added, plus toggle switch, which Wout tells me is for him, the best configuration for sound.

Above:  These pictures of a first issue '52 vintage Telecaster JV05040, were sent in by it's owner Gerben Koopman.

Above:  A great looking '62 vintage Precision Bass JV15810, which was purchased from a shop in Stockholm, Sweden, on 18th March 1983, by it's owner, Mats Ragnarsson.

Above:  Petri Gröhn sent in these pictures of his '62 vintage Stratocaster JV27102, which he obtained somewhere between 1985 and 1987.
